Electronic Real Estate Recording (ERER) CommissionThe Minnesota Electronic Real Estate Recording Commission (MNERERC) was established and receives its authority to act per Minnesota Statue 507.0945, which is part of a set statutes commonly known as the “Minnesota Real Property Electronic Recording Act.” The Legislature charged the commission with evaluating and adopting standards for implementing sections of the “Minnesota Real Property Electronic Recording Act,” as well as promoting uniformity of eRecording standards, practices and technology between Minnesota and other states which have similar eRecording statutes. According to law commission members are appointed and represent MACO, the Minnesota Land Title Association, the Minnesota Bankers Association, the Real Property Section of the Minnesota Bar Association, and the state archivist. In addition, commission membership includes a non-voting technical expert. All meetings are open to the public.
